
Rotimi Oyekanmi is currently a Partner of Apis Partners LLP, a private equity fund manager focused on investing in equity of growth companies in Africa and South Asia.
Rotimi has been involved in Private Equity/Venture Capital and Investment Banking for over 30 years: serving as CEO Renaissance Group Nigeria with responsibility for Renaissance Capital (Investment Banking), Renaissance Partners (Merchant Banking) and with African Capital Alliance (ACA); serving at various times as Chief Investment Officer, CEO, SME Manager Limited and Investment Principal in the Capital Alliance Private Equity Fund (first structured fund in Nigeria). He trained as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen and also served as financial consultant to many blue-chip Corporations.
Rotimi served as a Non-Executive Director of Diamond Bank plc (2016 – 2018), Director of Rendeavour Group (2015 – 2019), Chairman of RenMoney MFB Limited (2013 – 2016) and West African Land Holdings Limited – a subsidiary of Rendeavour Group (2012 -2015). He is currently an Independent Non-Executive director of The Bridge Clinic Limited.
He is a prize winning Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and an Alumni of the University of Ibadan and London School of Economics.
